Grandma's boys

Grandma Judy (Sarah's mom) started her visit on July 12, thinking that she'd get here right around the time of the birth. But she ended up waiting and waiting -- and staying three weeks.

We were grateful for every minute of it. And we're sad she left today.

Grandma did everything for us -- cooked, cleaned, cared for Austin, calmed the baby. She even sorted out my utensil drawers. Still, she didn't think she did enough: She wanted to bake a chocolate cake and make carne seca, but I talked her out of it.

Most of all, she showed us lots of love, especially her grandsons. Grandma and Grandpa plan to come back later this month. We'll miss them until then.

So precious, congratulations!! Judy Tully, you look great!

Sara, Im still not sure how you and my sister (Twiggie) can pop out a 9 pound whopper...amazing!!

Oh, AND...You said NO to a Judy Tully chocolate cake???What is wrong with you guys?? That's all I want for my 35th birthday in October...seriously!! But this year it doesn't have to be in the shape of a barbie wearing a big yellow dress! ;^)

kisses to all those cute boys!

I should clarify. We didn't get a chocolate cake. BUT she made brownies, peach pie and strawberry pie. We weren't suffering.
