Fourth of July weekend was an All American weekend for our family.
We started out with a trip to Hermosa Beach with the Ding family. Kevin took the picture above. If you make it bigger, you'll see sand all over Austin's face. Austin loves to play in the sand.
It was a bit overcast and a tad cold. But Austin still enjoyed playing with Sedona (below) and Maven. We didn't get in the water.
Daddy played ball with Austin and Sedona.
Austin and the girls went on the swings -- another favorite activity.
On Independence Day, Aunt Susan came over for an afternoon, patio barbecue.
Austin dressed for the occasion.
Later in the day, Austin, Daddy and I headed over to an Angels baseball game. We changed Austin into his Angels shirt, but kept on his stars-and-stripes socks. He looks like he's ready to catch a ball.
It was pretty sunny and hot in our seats at first, so we walked around a lot at the beginning of the game. Austin liked looking at the back of the water and rock structure at the stadium.
Austin liked being at the stadium with all of the people and songs, even if he didn't watch much. It was a little bit far away.
Austin got a little bit squirmy at the end, so we headed out of the stadium early. We watched the fireworks from the parking lot, where we could see the fireworks being shot off. Austin was fascinated.
