The other baby in the family

Before she is completely ignored, we thought we'd introduce you to Bicha.

Bicha has been my cat for about 12 1/2 years. She loves being an only child. And she loves her adoptive father, even more than me. He plays with her much more than I do.

Actually, I knew Michael was a potential keeper because Bicha jumped on his lap the first time he came over. Those of you who have met Bicha know that she can be a little picky. So, that was a good sign.

We've been trying to keep Bicha out of the baby's room because we don't want her going in the crib or something. She's mostly interested in this cute rug that Michael's aunts and uncles bought. We think she'll want nothing to do with the baby.

For now, she's enjoying my time off at home, being my only baby.
